How long will a bar of Farm Maid Goat Milk Soap last?
Many people ask us, "How long will a bar of your goat milk soap last?" Well...that's a bit of a loaded question. In our household of 8 people (who all wash their hair with the soap) a bar does not last as long as it does at Gramma & Grampa's house with just 2 people.
A better way for us to talk about this is on a hardness scale. If a bar of Ivory* is a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 and a brand new bar of Tone* or Caress* (that just mush away) is around a 3....we are going to come in at about a 7.5 or an 8. That's a pretty hard bar for a moisturizing bar of soap.
Now, I can make you soap that will last as long as a bar of Ivory*. However, your skin will be just as dry as if you used the Ivory* bar!
Our soap recipe and process are our own. We use only high quality vegetable oils and fresh goat milk to create a well balanced bar with great lather and excellent moisturizing properties.
Is our soap right for you? I don't know. What I can tell you is we've have been making soap for over 12 years, it is what we do full-time (this is not just a hobby - it is our family's full time income) and we have tons of repeat customers.
Try it....my bet is...your skin will be happy. :o)
